I’m not sure what to say. Not because my mind is empty, but because I don’t know what to focus on.
I was watching some lectures on Personality Psychology and it got me thinking. Growing up we are taught about math, science, social studies, literature and etc. However we are not taught, arguably, about the most important aspects of life.
We are not taught about how to deal with our emotions, we are not taught about how similar we all are, and how we are different. We are not taught about how to deal with people. It is of course no surprise then that decade after decade people are stuck relearning the same lessons over and over again. What’s worse is that we end up seeking advice from those who are not qualified to help us.
We have mastered machines, conquered mathematics and yet many of us are unable to control or understand ourselves. Food for thought.
I really like this quote by Immortal Technique:
I never lose hope, success is psychological.
