I’ve been kind of inconsistent lately. I guess my creatives juices have been exhausted.

To help and revive things here is a photo from Florida. It was pretty early morning (8am ish). Anton and I were out for a morning stroll on the beach. You can see how low the sun is and how it is pure white. Clouds parting just around it.

Last week I sold my beloved D40 and picked up a more advanced D90. A welcomed upgrade and yet I felt bad for selling my partner. Probably because I attribute my photos to the camera as much as to myself. Anyway the D90 is definitely a step up. It feels solid in my hand, definitely heavier but definitely much more capable. Now with the upgrade my 50mm auto focuses well and my 18-55mm is still as sharp as before. I suppose sometime down the line a wider lens will be in order. Something like a Sigma or a Tamron because damn the Nikkor is expensive. All I’m waiting for now is some good weather to go out and shoot. The cool thing is that now I’ll be able to even take videos. And with my Pro Flickr accounts now supporting HD video this is a welcomed feature. Anyway here it is, say hello.

I’ve been watching a lot of 24 lately. Just finished season 4 today. I’m late on joining the bandwagon but anyway. It is a good show. But not because of the plot. I found the first season horrendous and nearly unwatchable. It was unprofessional and too predictable. If I was stuck watching one episode per week I definitely would not have been a fan. Not very much happens on an episode to episode basis even by season 4. I often catch my self laughing at inappropriate times because some of the things that happen on the show are quite lame. None the less what I do like about the show are the characters and the cast. Maybe that it is expected that after watching 96 (4×24) episodes the main characters would grow on you. Anyways, good show for killing time but not much else.

The countdown to Seattle is in full swing. I signed the contract yesterday and spent a portion of today apartment hunting. I’m looking forward to all of it. I will miss many but it will be adventurous. Second time around things are always different. You see clearer, there is less unknowns.

I guess that’s it for today…
